Annecto UK – AZTEC

The Challenge:

Annecto UK provide independent merchants with card payment facilities. They were struggling to take on new merchants due to their inherently manual boarding process which was slow, clunky and inefficient – taking several days before a merchant could accept card transactions. Documents exchanged with suppliers had to be rekeyed, leading to error and delays. This situation was a far cry from Annecto’s long-term vision of providing a merchant with card payment facilities within 24 hours.

The Solution:

ECS designed and built AZTEC – a fully automated, efficient system which runs 24/7. AZTEC addresses Annecto’s immediate needs and has set the foundations for future streamlining of their other business processes.

Having come to the API project late and only having a limited knowledge of the technology, I found Kirit and his colleagues to be very patient and helpful right from the start. Always supportive and able to explain procedures and requirements clearly and assist wherever possible.
